Patrick B. McGinnis, Ph.D., Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJAP) has worked in various mental health agencies for over 30 years. He currently maintains a private practice in Vero Beach, Florida, where he specializes in sex therapy, relationships, addictions & co-dependency, and PTSD. He is certified in Addictions, Sex Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), and Hypnosis. He is a highly experienced workshop presenter and he has written articles on psychological topics for various publications. He was the co-founder of McGinnis & Reid Associates His website is Dr-Patrick.com.

Jack Reid, MA, Certified Addictions Professional (CAP)

Jack Reid, MA, was a Certified Addiction Professional and Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist. He was the founder of Espaler, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the recovery person who struggles to stay sober. He was involved in researching the relapse-prone person and was actively involved in the Espaler (Relapse spelled backward) recovery approach by facilitating relapse prevention groups.

Mr. Reid was trained and certified by Terence Gorski, a founder of CENAPS, and used the Developmental Model of Recovery in his counseling approach. Jack lectured and offered workshops on topics of addiction and recovery, relapse prevention and his Espaler model of recovery. He was the co-founder of McGinnis & Reid Associates. He strongly believed that spirituality is the central component of living a life in recovery.

Mr. Reid made his transition in July, 2006.
